I'm moving to the Westland area. Can I open a mailbox before arriving at my new location?
Yes. Visit our Mail Boxes page to learn more about opening your mail box with the UPS Store of Westland, Michigan. If you're currently a mailbox customer at another UPS Store, be sure to make arrangements to have your mail forwarded to your new location.

Does your location provide packaging services? If so, how much do they charge?
Yes. At The UPS Store of Westland we are packaging professionals and take great care in securing your items for shipment. We use only the finest materials to ensure the safety of your items. There is a cost for packaging materials as well as a service fee for each package.

Can your location ship my grandmother's china cabinet?
Yes. Please take a look at our shipping and packaging page for additional information about all of the types of items we can ship or receive for you.

Will my neighborhood location come pick up and pack my items?
For those with special needs, we will pick up from your home. An additional fee of $5.00 will apply, plus the cost of shipping and packaging if necessary. Please give us a 24 hour notice for this service. We will also bring along all necessary documentation required to ship your package out.

I have an issue relating to an international shipment? Whom do I contact?
If the item was shipped from our location, please contact us or call 734.595.1288. We will be happy to help you resolve any questions regarding your shipment.

If you are not in the country from which the item was shipped and have trouble communicating with the location due to language difficulties or other reasons, you may contact the Master Licensee's office (local corporate office in that country or region) for assistance. For Master Licensee contact information, select the region then the country from the drop-down box within Worldwide Franchise International Opportunities. You will need to have the carrier's tracking number, the Parcel Shipping Order (PSO) number and any other relevant information ready. International store locator

Is there a charge to drop off UPS packages that will be be billed to a different account or have a authorized return label on it?
No there is no charge. You may drop off your package and it will go out the same day. If there is packaging needed that cannot be billed to the account and you will have to pay for that separately.

What time of the day does UPS pickup from your location?
We have multiple pickups throughout the day. So if your package is here before 7:00pm on the weekdays it will go out the same day. The only packages that are picked up on Saturday are Second Day and Next day Air packages. No pickups are available on Sunday and all standard ground freight is picked up on Monday.

Does UPS run on Saturday and Sunday?
The only packages that are delivered Saturday's are UPS Next Day Air for Saturday delivery. UPS unfortunately doesn't run on Sundays.

Can I receive and send faxes from your location?
Yes, you can receive faxes (734.595.1185). Make sure that the sender lists your name in the attention line of the fax and it will be waiting for you once the fax is sent.
You may also send faxes from our location.

Do I have to setup an appointment to see a notary?
No, we have a Notaries on staff and waiting to assist all your notary needs. All you need to do is bring your drivers license and the documents and we will take care of the rest.

What do I do if I have a heavy package that I can get it into the, car but I can't get out?
Please park in front of the store come in a ask one of our associates to help you and we'll get it out for you free of charge.
